My love of books started with Dr. Seuss, talk about having an entertaining way with words. As a child, I would solve mysteries with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and learn about growning up with Judy Blume’s ‘Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret’.
As a teenager I was introduced to my first Harlequin and I immediately fell in love. I devoured books including Kathleen E. Woodiwiss and Johanna Lindsey, followed by Danielle Steele and boxes of Harlequins.
At nineteen I penned my first romance. I think I made every mistake known to man and a few that have yet to be documented. LOL. Nope, don’t have those stories. Once I figured out how terrible they were, I didn’t waste any time disposing of them.
Since then, I've joined Romance Writers of America, RWA PRO, WritingGIAMx2, and From The Heart Romance Writers. The choice to join these groups has made all of the difference in my writing.
